What You Need To Know About Air Compressors!
Need to know more about Air Compressors. Are you researching what to buy to fit what you need or just simply learning about whats new, Air Compressor WA has the information.
free to air receiver, can the satellite company detect who is using FTA receivers?
I just ask for asking. Because I dont understand how can people get away with getting FTA
FTA is Free To Air
The receivers are made for watching free programming that is unencrypted and broadcast via Satellite.
There are many free TV channels broadcast and it’s completely LEGAL
What is ILLEGAL is for someone to (Hack) reprogram their receiver with programs found on the web , so they can illegally watch Pay TV services.
Can the Pay TV satellite companies detect who is using them ?
No , not really but they are making an effort to curb satellite signal theft and have several lawsuits pending against several FTA receiver manufacturers.
I would be more worried about satellite companies obtaining information about the people who bought these receivers from a vendor who modified a receiver or finding people thru an IP address if they logged onto a questionable FTA web site or downloaded an illegal software program.
By the way , there are 100’s of free TV stations available with TRUE FTA and many people are enjoying the channels they get legally , unfortunately FTA has been tainted by all the hackers.
Does anyoody understand air compressors and the cfm ratings?
I am preparing to buy an air compressor. I was told that in order to use certain air tools, the CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating on the compressor needed to exceed the cfm or scfm rating of the air tool. Unfortunately, most of the 110v air compressors that I’ve looked at, up to $400, don’t have the cfm output volume that various air tools require (as stated on their packaging). I find it difficult to believe the that I would need to buy an industrial 220v 10hp air compressor to get enough cfm to drive, say a sand blaster.
Anybody know about this? Your help would defintely be appreciated.
YOU HAVE HEARD CORRECTLY….THE AC MUST AT LEAST MEET THE CFM REQUIREMENTS OF THE TOOL…AND TO INSURE THE MAX USE OF THE TOOL MUST EXCEED THE CFM REQUIREMENT…
How do I find a product on line, Professional Power station, instant mobile power, by POWERLINE?
I have a portable battery jumpstarter, with Built in dc/ac inverter, air compressor, with light that is need of service, how do i find service or manufacturer, for address or phone # for service. Item was purchased at costco 2-1/2 years ago.
try eBay, or enter that in the search section.
Does anyone think a harbor freight air compressor is good or stay away?
I am looking at buying a air compressor and harbor freight is the cheapest and the best it seams they sale this brand called central pneumatic. The air compressor is 21 gallons and is a 3hp motor. It also has a 7 scfm @ 40 and a 4.9 @ 90 and a 4.3 @ 115 is this a good air compressor from harbor freight. Or should i stay away from the brand.
This is a very good product. I have many tools by this brand and never had any problems at all. I also have an air compressor and it works great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Fta (free to Air) Receivers
Free To Air Satellite Receiver systems provided a variety of niche programming for those seeking foreign language, ethnic, and religious programming. There is some traditional television programming, but FTA satellite TV does not replace DirecTV, Dish Network, or your Basic Cable TV service. To get an idea of the type of programming available, review Their FTA Programming Chart. For most current Free To Air TV information, Free To Air uses the international MPEG2 Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) standard. DVB Satellite TV offers a better image quality, for most channels, this results in the best non HD TV you will witness. Free To Air Satellite Receiver Systems use a dish larger then your basic DirecTV or Dish Network dish, but generally always under 1 meter in size.
There are several receivers’ available and motorized mounts that allow users to take advantage of all the programming from various satellites, although more dishes are fixed on one satellite. A motorized mount is powered through the similar coax that carries the satellite signal from the dish to the receiver. The device located at the front of the receiver is called a Low Noise Block (LNB). The LNB lowers the frequency from the satellite frequency of 12 Ghz to a frequency appropriate for transfer over a standard RG-6 coax cable. More LNBS only provide a single receiver connection, but there are LNBS with two and even four coax connections. This allows for up to four receivers to be connected to a single dish only. Free To Air has involved over the last few years to include Digital Video Recorder (DVR) FTA Receivers and Multi-Sat dishes for simultaneous reception of up to 16 satellite orbits. The more common FTA receiver manufacturers are Pansat, Fortec, Coolsat, and the DVR FTA receiver from DreamBox.
While mostly used for access to religious and ethnic programming, Free To Air can appeal to almost every one looking to expand their television viewing options. If you don’t see the programming you desire you may find your satellite programming available from Globe Cast World TV, which offers subscription based international programming.
There are over a dozen Free To Air receiver manufacturers and the bulk of their business for years has been for the overseas and Europe markets. The DVB/MPEG2 format has been around for years and a better standard for satellite distribution. There are over 3000 free-to-air TV and radio channels available through out the world. With the correct size of dish their selection of FTA receivers will allow you to enjoy that programming selection. Many of these channels are foreign language channels from around the world. There are approximately 100 satellites that are available from around the world and available in North America. Various people of different nationalities want to listen or watch TV from their old homeland. Several ethnic cultures enjoy being connected with their heritage and that is why a free-to-air satellite receiver has been popular for years.

About Oil Less Air Compressors
Portable air compressors vary by size and power level, and there are a few different models available from which to choose depending on the tools you will use. Be sure to check the power requirements of your tools to ensure that you purchase a model that has sufficient power to run your strongest tool. Regardless of the compressor you purchase, it is always very important to follow the safety precautions including safety goggles, protective clothing and proper footwear.
Portable rotary screw compressors are one of the more commonly used compressors. They range from 65 to 1,600 cubic feet per minute, with pressure ratings ranging from 100 to 350 PSI. As discussed above, the compressor you need depends on your tools and the required power level. Contractors often use 185 CFM because they are able to power two tools simultaneously. One benefit to this compressor is its suitability for both the lighter and heavy duty jobs.
The truck mounted compressor is an oil less air compressor and can be mounted in the bed or under the hood of a truck. These compressors are excellent space savers, a great advantage for those with limited space available. Their power source is from the engine of the truck which allows them to be a low-maintenance compressor. However, one disadvantage is that the truck must be running to provide the compressor the power it needs.
Finally, the deck mounted compressor is mounted in the bed of the truck but can be removed and left at the job site. This compressor does not rely on the truck for power since it has its own engine. However, it does require fuel to power the engine, unlike the truck mounted compressor which runs from the truck. The engine also requires regular maintenance.
As you see, the power source of compressors varies with some powered electronically and others requiring fuel. With either type, though, the air is stored in the holding tank and the tools are to be attached with a hose. A valve regulates the pressure which is measured by a gauge.
Quincy and Husky are two of the major brands of compressors. Quincy’s rotary screw compressors are very durable, reliable and quiet with its power level varying from 10 to 350 horsepower. Quincy’s available air compressors range in size from the smaller tank models to the larger, stationary styles.
Husky’s line of small air compressors are generally made for home and personal use. The 1.75 gallon tank compressor has 135 PSI power has an oil free pump for easy maintenance and is easy to transport with its telescope handle. This model of Husky compressors is good for running tools such as nailing guns, for example, and is also useful for insulation purposes. Husky’s four gallon model has 125 PSI power and is a good choice for running small tools, spraying and even inflating tires and other recreational items. The four gallon model is a compressor for homeowners.

The Truths About Swamp Coolers That You Really Need To Know
There are various types of devices that may be used to help cool off a humid room. Most people today use standard airconditioning, but there are those who are fans of alternative tools and, instead, choose swamp coolers.
No, a swamp cooler is not in any way linked to dark and murky swamp. It is a new type of refrigeration system that makes use of the simple process of evaporation to give off cool air. Also called a desert cooler, an evaporative cooler, or an air cooler, the swamp cooler differs from the regular airconditioner in a way that the latter employs a compressor and a heat pump to operate.
A swamp cooler is best for environments with low humidity, where its installation is relatively cheap compared to traditional airconditioners. Areas with high humidity may also benefit from swamp coolers, like dry cleaners, greenhouses and industrial plants. But it is really best for environments whose humidities are relatively light.
There are two types of cooling mechanisms under a swamp cooler. One is the indirect evaporative cooling, which happens in a closed circuit and makes use of a heat exchanger. The other is called direct evaporative cooling, which happens in an open circuit, where warm and dry air is converted to cool, moist air by reducing the air temperature via the evaporation process.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Swamp Coolers
There are a number of reasons why swamp coolers are a better choice than traditional airconditioners.
First, they are a lot less costly to install. When compared with refrigerated air conditioners, setting up a swamp cooler costs about an eighth to half. Operating it is also cheaper, accounting for just a fourth of what is expended on refrigerated air. You are also more likely to spend a lot less on energy because a swamp cooler’s operational system is based simply on a water pump and a fan. Patrons of swamp coolers also attest that the air is relatively fresher.
However, while it has its merits, it also has several trade-offs. One is that it relies on water to function. Thus, you will have to keep checking if it has enough in its tank and its pads are always wet. It is also more expensive to maintain, particularly during cold weather and winter, because it can easily freeze burst.
Another disadvantage to using a swamp cooler is that the air it gives off is very humid, at around 80% to 90%. It is therefore not very advisable in high-humidity environments because it will eventually corrode your electrical systems and moisten surfaces. The evaporated air will consequently condense, which becomes a big nuisance.
A swamp cooler is also not advisable if you have asthma because pollutants and other microbes from outside might be blown into the room if it has not ample filtering.
In sum, while this device provides a less costly alternative, it comes with a catch. If your priority is to cut corners, then this product is for you. If you’ve already gotten used to traditional air conditioners and really find nothing wrong with using them, then there’s no reason to make a switch.

Power Tools Vs. Hand Tools
Stop wasting your time with using hand tools when you could be using power tools that are faster and more efficient. Hand tools have been around for centuries and are simple but slow. Today we still have hand tools but they are old technology and out dated. Hand tools were all that we had until power tools were introduced to the public. Power tools are what built the United States and all of the cities in it were all constructed with the help of some kind power tool.
Power tools revolutionized how we did our everyday tasks. Power tools enabled us to get more work done with less user fatigue than compared to using hand tools. Power Tools allowed a person to get the job done 2 to 3 times faster than compared to using hand tools which allows more time to do what you want and not chores or work. Why pound nails with a hammer when you can use a nail gun. Why turn wrenches and ratchets when you can use air tools and finish in half the time and half the effort. I even know people that only take their cars to mechanics that use power tools because power tools will get the job done in half the time saving you money.
Then Power Tools went to the next level by going cordless. Cordless power tools allowed a person to go anywhere and everywhere with no cords attached. No more dragging around extension cords or being limited to working next to an outlet. Today’s technologies have made power tool batteries with 2 times more capacity and only 1 hour charge times. With 2 batteries and a charger, a person could work all day without running out of battery power. Cordless power tools work great for working on roofs because extension cords tend to want to slide off the roof or they are not long enough and won’t reach your work area. Little things like this take up a lot of time and will slow your productivity down.
So when are you going to put down the screw driver and pick a power drill. If you’re looking to use power tools on the job I recommend Name Brands such as DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, or Skil. If you want a power tool to use around the house I recommend Non-Name Brands because their a third of the price of name brands and still are just as good. Our whole community depends on power tools anywhere from cordless drills to impact wrenches we all depend on them and most of us use them everyday.

How Does One Set-up Free to Air Satellite Receivers?
A Free to Air Satellite receiver (abbreviated FTA receivers) refers to satellite receivers that are designed to receive unencrypted FTA satellite transmissions. Using these satellite receivers, one can legally receive TV signals without subscription. The signal is typically encoded in an MPEG-2 video and may be restricted geographically. In some places around the world, people can receive encrypted Free to Air satellite channels through the UHF and VHF band. The channels transmitted through Free to Air satellite are received by utilizing a common MPEG-2 video compatible satellite receiver. Many people use FTA to receive thousands of satellite TV channels free of charge. The equipment needed for you to enjoy the freebies are FTA receiver (and here one has a choice between Pansat, Coolsat, Conaxsat, and many other great brand names) and a satellite dish within the specifics within the specifics required by the satellite one wishes to point at. However, many satellites only require a standard DTV compliant dish that can be easily found in any satellite TV or electronic store. Both C-band and K-Band dishes work just fine. If you wish to receive channels from more than one satellite, you will also need to have an antenna motor. And then of course you will need the LNBF.
Once one has gotten the hold of the two pieces of hardware, one may then start with the pointing of the dish. In order to complete this, one needs to have a coaxial cable running from where the dish is and making its way to the FTA receiver which should be connected to the television. Usually this is the most difficult part. Though pointing the dish is not very difficult, many people would prefer to hire an experienced person agile enough to fix it on the roof of the house. But perhaps before one does that, it would be advisable to look for online resources possibly by checking out a couple of FTA support websites and the good ones will support you with the current FTA keys, files, software , updates and troubleshooting help. If you are going to buy FTA support, you may scout for the best site by sending them an email and taking note of the wait time before they reply. And this opportunity may also be utilized to know whether that particular site uses automated reply or not.
Once that is done, then you may go about the business of pointing the dish. You will need to go to the options of the FTA receiver and select the actual satellite that you will point at. It is also likely that you will be required to load some firmware updates. The FTA keys will need to be entered manually, and so its important you familiarize yourself with this process. Entering FTA keys usually involves entering the setting up screen of whichever the receiver that you own and find the key code section of the setup. But a key point to remember is that each satellite receiver is different and the settings may vary.
